The incident echoes a comparable occurrence from the previous season of the club. Last December 5th, on a Friday morning, local law enforcement detained former Almeria player, Aarón Hernández, after a breathalyzer test revealed alcohol in his system following an accident. It is established that he collided with three parked vehicles, subsequently crashing his black Porsche Cayenne into the entrance of his residential complex. Afterward, Hernández was released and was able to train with the team the following morning. However, he ultimately departed from Almeria during the winter transfer window.
